Isabel Melo, founder and director of Couple and Family Therapy Montreal, has been practising as a psychotherapist, couple and family therapist, and parent educator in the Montreal area for over 20 years. She specializes in couple therapy, parenting consulting and play therapy with children aged 3 to 9. With couples, Isabel uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which has the highest success rate of any couple therapy approach. In her work with parents and children, her lens is attachment-based and developmentally friendly. Isabel also works with individual adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship distress, and she runs popular parenting education groups. Isabel was featured as a guest expert on parenting on CBC Radio’s Radio Noon. She provides services in English and French.
